Applications to the Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan (PISMP) 2017 is opening tomorrow, 23 March 2017 at 2.00pm. You can click here for the online PISMP page on the MOE website, and proceed to apply. However, it should be noted that this will website will only become active at 2.00pm tomorrow (March 23, 2017). Until then, here are the basics you need to know before applying.
PISMP is devoted to train future teachers in the Teachers Education Institute (IPG) set up by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in various fields of specialisation. Those who attend this school will be deployed to teach in primary schools after graduation.
The duration of study for those who are selected to attend PISMP Program is for 12 months or two semesters at IPG (Preparatory course sometimes called PPSIMP) and is a full-time study course. After passing this PPISMP, then they will pursue the PISMP for 4 years or 8 semesters at IPG to qualify for a Bachelor's Degree and be taught in primary schools throughout the country.
Applications can be made online (online) via the application program Bachelor of Teaching (PISMP) on www.moe.gov.my. However for now, the application is still not open, and will remain this way until 23 March 2017. To enable you to access the portal, no pin numbers are required. You only need to register and then proceed to apply.
So to those of you who are interested, do not forget the date of application will open on March 23 and the application is only open for 6 days only until March 30, 2017 at 11.59pm. You are also advised to read the e-guide provided in the portal application before making an application. This is to avoid any mistakes that may void your application or but rejected outright.
