Pahang Foundation to increase sponsorship for overseas students

Opposite to Yayasan Terengganu's recent actions and decisions.

Pahang Foundation (Yayasan Pahang) sponsored students in Egypt and Jordan will receive extra temporary financial assistance in order to reduce the financial burden due to the impact of the fall in ringgit value.

Pahang Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob, said Malaysian students in Egypt will receive additional assistance of RM3,000 per year, bringing the total funding to RM9,000 while students in Jordan will receive an additional RM5,000 to a total sponsorship of RM25,000.

"However, this additional aid in scholarship will be reviewed when the ringgit value has recovered," he said.
