Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP) is a technical training service provider owned by PETRONAS Technical Training Sdn. Bhd. Established in 1981, INSTEP was primarily set-up to train skilled technicians and operators in meeting the rapid growth of country`s petroleum industry. Initially known as Sekolah Latihan Teknikal PETRONAS, it subsequently changed its name to Institut Latihan Perindustrian Petroliam PETRONAS (ILPP). INSTEP has since played a pivotal role in the oil and gas technical training services.

Application Requirements

• Malaysian citizen who is single/unmarried
• DIPLOMA holder with Engineering / Skills / Science background from any institution recognised by the government of Malaysia
• Applicants who have a degree/masters are not encouraged to apply
• Priority is given to those who have credit in Bahasa Malaysia, English, Modern Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in SPM
• Age is between 22-29 years old in 2017
• BMI not more than 30kg/m2
• Not colour blind and is physically fit to work in the oil and gas industry
• Priority is given for those who are active in sports, have leadership qualities and are able to communicate in English
