NYALA 2019 at IUKL: 31st Architectural Student Workshop and Built Environment Infrastructure Exposition

The 31st Architectural Student Workshop and Built Environment Infrastructure Exposition (NYALA 2019) was hosted by Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL). The workshop was held from 31st July until 5th August 2019 at IUKL campus within the De Centrum City, 43000 Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia.

The programme was mainly sponsored by Protasco Berhad and supported by Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM), staff and students of IUKL.

The architectural student workshop has been as an annual event in Malaysia for more than three decades. This year, the 31st Architectural Student Workshop 2019 which was supported by Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia was attended by 762 delegates from 24 higher learning institutions from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore. The event was aimed at nurturing leadership, challenging architectural design proponents and boundaries among architecture students. It has become an arena of creativity through the exposition of talents from Malaysia and abroad via a common platform for active networking amongst the participants, practitioners and the public by engaging in various creative academic activities.

Together with the prestigious workshop, the Built Environment Infrastructure Exposition was organized to offer a wider perspective of the competitive industry.
