Students taking the English test papers (Code 0141 & 0142 ) for UPSR will have to retake the papers following a reported leak, as stated by the Minister of Education II, Datuk Idris Jusoh. Students of Vernacular Primary Schools are not affected by this leak.
This was despite an initial clarification by the Ministry that the English paper subjects were to commence as usual today.
Initially reported yesterday, the Science Paper for UPSR (Code 018, 028 & 038) were found to be leaked onto social media before the exam was scheduled for today. The paper was subsequently rescheduled to the 30th of September 2014 while pending an official investigation by the authorities.
500,000 students have been affected by this leak.
No further comments have been with regards to the new test paper leaks. In other reports, culprits behind the leaks could be tuition centres that have connections inside to provide the questions.
