'MySekolah' app to monitor student activities

The 'MySekolah' mobile application will be introduced to enable parents to get the latest information about the activities of their children in school.

Deputy Education Minister Datuk P.Kamalanathan said, for now the application will go through a trial period in three schools: Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bandar Baru Sintok, Kedah; SK Datin Fatimah in Kuala Nerang, Kedah and SK Precinct 14, Putrajaya.

According to him, the trial period will last for three months at these chosen schools in order to assess the effectiveness and suitability of the application, before being extended to more schools.

"The application will be able to, among others, record and display information about the presence of children at school, their learning schedule, exam results or activities that take place in schools," he said.
