New pathway from LCCI to ACCA announced.
LCCI students from now on can enjoy an accelerated pathway to become a chartered certified accountant with exemptions into the foundation level Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and ACCA Qualifications.
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and Pearson Malaysia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 13 June 2016 to promote the mutually agreed pathways of the ACCA Qualification and Pearson’s London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) suite of programmes.
ACCA’s President, Datuk Alexandra Chin, signed on behalf of the global professional body while Pearson was represented by Rachel Brujis, its Head of Products (Asia).
Witnessing this notable occasion was the British High Commissioner to Malaysia, H.E. Victoria Treadell CMG MVO.
With this partnership, there will be a concerted effort by both parties to enhance the talent pipeline of the accounting and finance professions via ACCA’s professional qualifications.
