Ministry to introduce parliamentary democracy on tertiary level

Particularly brilliant suggestions from students will be documented prior to studying it and implementing the inputs in the future.

Jabatan Penerangan (Department of Information) have plans to introduce a 'Parliamentary Democracy Programme: The King and the People are Inseparable' in every public and private universities, colleges and training institutes across the country to expose the younger generation to the system.

Deputy Director of the Strategic Information Department, Mohd Sukari Abdul Hamid said the programme, which lasts until the end of the year, will be starting in Johor before launched nationwide in stages.

The purpose of this program is to educate, create awareness and explain the system of parliamentary democracy as practiced in the country to young people studying in Malaysia.
