Meet UTP@F1 Showcase

Education, excitement, enthusiasm and high energy… a powerful combustion of ingredients which all come together at the KLCC Esplanade this week. This is a unique opportunity for students and parents to visit the showcase of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and the 2015 Formula 1 PETRONAS Grand Prix at the same time.

A double benefit would be the admission and career consultation that will be offered by staff, students and alumni of the university.

This Meet [email protected] Showcase is a one-of-a-kind, not–to-be-missed event where an established institution of higher learning teams up with the famed Formula 1 PETRONAS Grand Prix to showcase educational opportunities and one of Malaysia’s most well-loved F1 grand prix events as well.

Visitors to this Meet [email protected] Showcase will be treated to glimpses of the exciting world of the F1 as there will be race cars on display and lots of info for F1 enthusiasts. Aside from education on the F1, the Meet [email protected] Showcase will, most importantly, showcase the educational opportunities within UTP itself, presenting an excellent opportunity to see who and what UTP is.

In keeping with the contemporary theme of the event, UTP brings its campus in Seri Iskandar, Perak, right to the heart of the city at the KLCC Esplanade through a 3D presentation. This virtual tour will offer visitors an insight to what the physical campus of UTP is like in the northern state and the opportunities to take tours of the modern and fully-equipped faculty buildings within the 1,000-acre campus. This will be especially beneficial and insightful to those who are looking towards UTP for higher education programmes.

UTP has also organised an Invention & Technology Showcase which will exhibit some of the university’s accomplishment and inventions. There will also be Robots Showcase by UTP Computer and Information Sciences Department.

A double benefit would be the admission and career consultation that will be offered by staff, students and alumni of the university. Career talks have also been scheduled.

To make the event more exciting and meaningful, potential students will be able to apply directly for the May & July intakes at the Meet [email protected] Showcase. Just bring along certified copies of academic transcripts, parents’ salary slips and co-curricular certificates.

 Meanwhile, for a little bit of the culture and arts, UTP students will stage performances to promote the Tapestry of Colours, a concert in support of Yayasan UTP, on 17 May 2015 at Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
