Medical schools to use government facilities

  • According to the Deputy Health Minister Datuk Rosnah Shirlin, both public and private medical and allied health sciences schools have the privilege to use government facilities for practical training.
  • However, the move would depend on the availability of hospital facilities.
  • Plans are underway to add 20 more training hospitals for housemanship, summing up to 55 of them.
