MARA to give students a second chance

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) graduates will be able to continue their studies under MARA via the Education Carnival starting last Thursday.

An officer for Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA)'s Education and Training, Azhari Nawawi said, not everyone have the opportunity to continue studies in public universities for some reason or another and the carnival is the answer for applicants to do so.

"A total of 62 private higher education institutions and Ipma (Institut Pendidikan Mara) are taking part in the carnival this year, offering various areas of education both academic or technical. In addition, anyone eligible will have a chance to get a loan with us," he said.

He also said that this carnival will indirectly assist SPM leavers in making the correct choices for their career and their future.
