This includes the provision of scholarships for students who have excelled in academia and access to school for students in primary and secondary levels.

Tertiary students may also enjoy ease of getting a study loan via PTPTN.

"University students who received loan from the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) will be converted into scholarships by excelling or achieving first class honors. The government has also abolished school fees," he said.

In order to help Malaysian parents, the government has also made provisions in the form of Bantuan Khas Awal Persekolahan 1Malaysia, a special funding to help students buy provisions in school.
