Malaysian Ministry of Education asks students to be cautious of fake offer letters

The Malaysian Ministry of Education has released a statement in response to letters offering scholarships and loans to students.The Ministry has advised students to beware and not fall prey to the information specified in the offer letter.

According to the statement, The Ministry of Education has not organised any programme offering scholarships and educational loans to students who wish to study at UiTM, UPM, USM, UNITEN and other local and foreign universities, as stated in this sample letter below:
