26 year old doctoral (PhD) medical student at King's College London managed to photograph bacteria in a sophisticated settings.
Izzat Fahimuddin Mohammed developed a passion for photography with unique skills to photograph tiny living organisms which enabled him to photograph bacteria using a complex settings through Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) imaging techniques.
He earned a place among 20 winners of the Wellcome Image Awards 2016 held in London. The award is an international photography competition organized annually to recognize and award the efforts of Biomedical researchers from all over the planet.
The image produced by the young Malaysian protégé will be on display in several locations in the United States and the United Kingdom including top universities and institutions.
