Malaysia to digitalise delivery of education

• Adoption of Digital Education Solution (DES) is timely and relevant to students who are more sophisticated today

Global ICT solutions provider, Huawei Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd and Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) have recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to adopt Digital Education Solutin (DES) in the country.

Under the MoU, Huawei will be the strategic technology partner to advice and recommend to MDeC for the adoption of digital technologies, tools and content that suits the Malaysia educational system.

Meanwhile, MDeC will promote the adoption of a end-to-end DES leveraging on advanced information, communication and technology (ICT) digital technologies. The agency also will provide the facilitation and linkage to other government ministries and agencies in the planning and implementation of such DES.
