College foundation is a pre-university programme offered by private institutions of higher learning. Sometimes referred as ‘feeder courses’, college foundations are designed to prepare students for the subjects and courses that they will be undertaking at a degree level. Because they are tailored for a particular programme, college foundations is one of the quickest pre-university programmes. Most college pre-university are one year long, some having two semesters while the others have three (two long semesters and one short semester). Most of the intakes are in January or middle of the year.
