  • The government has accorded recognition to more than 70 programmes offered by Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman (KTAR).
  • "This recognition means that all KTAR graduates who graduated way back in the 1990s will have their qualifications recognised by the Public Service Department," said Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
  • KTAR vice-principal Lim See Wah said the recognition would benefit some 100,000 graduates who are now leaders in their respective fields and profession.
  • At the function, Najib also witnessed the signing of the alliance between Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM) and 26 top public and private universities, research institutes and companies in the country to set up the National Technology Commercialisation Office (NTCO).
  • The NTCO will speed up the commercialisation process of intellectual properties developed by Malaysian academia.
