Due to JPA overseas scholarship's cancellation earlier this year, 9 students who managed to get placements in universities abroad hope to raise RM750,000 from the public.

The nine higher education students are in need of RM750,000 to cover their first year tuition fees in order to further their studies in the United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK).

Ung Lik Teng, the students' representative mentioned that the amount they were asking was highly minimum, as the students will work part time to cover their cost of living overseas.

"We have gone through several negotiations with the government to help reinstate these students' JPA overseas scholarships, but the attempts were unsuccessful," said Ung.

If you are interested to help these students pursue their dreams, you may contact Ung via email at [email protected] or call him at 011-3224 8215.
