Issues to be ironed out before India sends its English teachers to Malaysia

Two years ago, the Education Ministry of Malaysia has called for a study on the proposal to recruit teachers from India. Since then discussions with experts have been made to ensure that this would be a profitable move.

Currently, the memorandum of understand (MoU) is still being studied by India's Ministry of Human Resources Development.

They have some issues of concern that needed to be ironed out before the MoU could then be signed.

This programme will recruit teachers from India who are skilled in the English Language to teach in Malaysia. This complements with the United States programme wherein English Training Assistants from the US are stations at selected schools nationwide.
