Leavers of Tahfiz institutes, religious secondary schools and school dropouts now have the opportunity to continue their studies either in academia or vocational at the Kolej Ikip through their Smart Tahfiz Programme.
Deputy General Manager for Pahang Foundation, Norhishamuddin Yaacob said, implementation of this program is an initiative from Ikip Group of Colleges and Pahang Foundation in collaboration with the Selangor Islamic Department.
According to him, the main objective of this Smart Tahfiz Programme is to provide opportunities for greater clarity and guaranteed to the three groups are continuing their studies in their chosen field.
"For the Huffaz Scholars Programme, students will be assisted for 16 months on how to go through SPM as a private candidate so they may continue their studies in various courses and diplomas offered at Kolej Ikip such as the Bachelor's Degree in collaboration with Ikip-Yarmouk, Jordan," he said.
They also can enroll for Diploma in Islamic institutions, Islamic Finance Diploma, Diploma in Tourism Management, Marketing, Accounting, and many others.
In addition, through the Vocational Huffaz programme, candidates will be prepared to meet the training standard in Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) for courses such as Bakery, ICT, Automotive, Office Administration and many others according to the students' interest.
Candidates will also have the opportunity to get sponsorships and scholarships.
