International Students Can Apply for Student Pass Online

New and flexible way for international students to apply for their student pass in Malaysia.

In line with the nation's plan to attract more international students by 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education has announced through its Facebook page that students can apply for student pass online directly with the Malaysian Global Education Services (MGES).

Other facilities were also to be introduced effective by March 15, 2016 stating that the Student Pass and an i-card will be issued for the whole study period.

Although leeway and flexibility are accorded to, it is mandatory for the respective HE institutions to submit the annual academic results of their students as well as proof of attendance of students to the EMGS .
