The official announcement was made by the Ministry of Education (MOE) today in a media release.  A total of 12, 589 candidates registered for the exam across 229 test centres around the country, with hopes to improve their grades in the subjects of History, Bahasa Malaysia and Mathematics. There are three methods by which students can check their results. <h2>Post</h2>Snail-mail is still very much present and results will be posted to students. <h2>Ministry of Education (State)</h2>Candidates may also check on their results by calling the State's Ministry of Education (based on where they registered). <h2>SMS</h2>The easiest and most popular of the three methods, students can also check their results via SMS by using the my SMS 15888. Just SMS the words SPMU<space>IC NUMBER<space>Angka Giliran and send to 15888. This system will become active from 10am on August 24, 2017. Again, it's:<h3>SPMU<space>IC number<space>Angka Giliran.
