Harvard and Ivy League Universities-trained instructors of the Asia Leadership Trek will conduct the Asia Leadership Conference 2016 organised by the Sunway Education Group on 9 January 2016.
Sunway University in collaboration with the Asia Leadership Institute will be organising the Asia Leadership Conference for young leaders aged between 16 and 23 years old for the fourth time this 9 January 2016. The conference is conducted by Harvard and Ivy League Universities-trained instructors of the Asia Leadership Trek.
The one-day conference will include workshops, TED Talks and forums exploring the theme 'Thriving Asia: When is Asia Set to Become the World’s Powerhouse?'.
Participants will expect to be part of a highly effective networking platform for the sharing and exchange of knowledge on international issues.
The following will be the programme format:
• Workshop series – participants will engage in workshops on leadership that are specially customised for young leaders in Asia. The Harvard trekkers will facilitate these workshops.
• TED-Talks – highlight themes on personal leadership, innovative processes and global trends. Each trekker will share his/her unique life story and experiences to inspire.
• Talk Show – a platform to discuss and debate on emerging topics of leadership, economy, education and politics. It is also a forum to engage and inspire young leaders. The selected trekkers will sit as a panel and will be interviewed on a focused topic by a moderator.
• Networking – there will be networking opportunities with the trekkers and distinguished guests.
