Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) or also known as The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is expanding the e-Pengeluaran Education service which includes education expenditure that allow its members to submit online applications to withdraw their EPF savings.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Fund Operations, Datuk Mohd. Naim Daruwish stated that the service allows its members to apply for withdrawal to finance their individual or children's education at local universities and abroad.

He also added that his department is trying to encourage more institutions of higher learning (IPT) and banks to join the e-Pengeluaran service so that EPF members gain experience and benefits through the online withdrawal.

"So far , a total of 10 institutions currently undergoing evaluation systems integration using e-Pengeluaran and 3 of the institutions are Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM), Universiti Multimedia Malaysia (MMU) as well as Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN).

"Menbers who are yet to have an i-Akaun can register by contacting EPF Management Centre at 03-89226000 or through EPF's kiosk or visit any EPF branches or through EPF Mobile Team," he said.
