- Deputy Health Minister Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashin announced that dental graduates will only have to serve the Ministry of Health for two years and not three.
- The shorter stint was approved by the Malaysian Dental Council on 29 February 2012.
- In 2011, 415 graduates registered with the Malaysian Dental Council.
- She also says that the ministry continues to require dental grads, especially with the new facilities and upgrades of existing ones.
