In the near future, a bachelor’s degree qualification will no longer be enough for you to get you ahead of competition. Companies in Asia Pacific are now hiring more MBA graduates to help them expand business and attain success.
Companies in all sectors and across the world plan to hire business school graduates, with projected hiring rates the highest for all degree types since 2009 and that includes Asia Pacific wherein demand for MBA graduates has increased by 6% in 2014 to 75% this year.
Among the different regions, the demand for MBAs in APAC was one of the highest, second only to the United States (92%). Latin America was tied at 75%, while Europe followed at 56% (see chart above) , according to the 2015 Corporate Recruiters Survey by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).
In Asia-Pacific, companies have expressed their desire to hire more MBA graduates. From 69% in 2014, the demand for MBA graduates is expected to reach 75% by 2015. Demand for candidates with years of experience remain the highest among companies surveyed (see chart above).
