Course fees of Medical programmes in Malaysia 2013

Crying babies, terminally ill patients, thankful families and patients with plenty wounds or broken bones --- these is what a medicine student will see during his seven years of a medicine course (5 years in medical school + 2 years housemanship).

It's too long, too tiresome and too expensive! Despite it all, medicine remains a top choice among students.

The Afterschool Team contacted all institutions (private universities, university colleges, branch campuses and colleges) to find out how much a MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) cost. And oh boy! It's 'serious money"!
