Community colleges will be star rated this June

This mid-year, the country's 84 community colleges will be rated by the Ministry of Higher Education. Each institution will be measured to determine their level of delivery and service as well as identify weaknesses to improve.

According to Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin added that the process of college empowerment would involve creating expert lecturers in the fields offered to raise the institution's position and reputation.  Teachers who showed excellence in teaching will be given additional exposure locally or abroad.
