There was a time when students in Russia were able to enter university without standard exam results if they can pass this puzzle.
Take a look at this picture taken from the Soviet Education Ministry:

1. How long have these people been going camping?
Possible Answer:A couple of days at most; they're still clean shaven.
2. Do they know much about housekeeping?
Possible Answer: Not a lot: not gutting/cutting fish properly; using too much string to sew; using large axe to chop thin branches.
3. Is the river navigable?
Possible Answer: Yes; there's a row boat on the other side; fishing lines suggest you can catch fish so current not too strong.
4. How long will it take for the laundry to dry?
Possible Answer: It's windy and sunny, so maybe within 1 hour.
5. Will the sunflower grow much more?
Possible Answer: No; the withering leaves of the sunflower suggest the bloom is at its full extent and the bag indicates it is being harvested.
6. How far is the campsite from city?
Possible Answer: TV antenna on house suggests within reception distance, but no running water (there's a well outside), so maybe within 100km max. The visible building structures are also large and easy to make out.
7. Which town is the plane flying to?
Possible Answer: This town. It is a small aircraft spraying pesticides.
If you are able to solve even one question, you are probably smarter than you give yourself credit for and get any career you want.
