Bursary Programme to be abolished in 2017

Outstanding SPM candidates will no longer receive JPA Bursary beginning 2017.

SPM 2016 candidates will no longer receive the government scholarship Bursary for 2017 following the Ministry of Education's decision to suspend the programme next year.

Nonetheless, this Bursary Programme is still implemented for all 714 SPM 2015 leavers who obtained 9A+. This programme has also been taken over by Public Service Department (PSD) and a few changes are made, including students are to continue studies in local institutions only.

Sponsorships will be provided for the preparatory program/Foundation and first Degree. These sponsorships are offered for Clinical and Health courses, Engineering and Technology courses, Science and Social Sciences courses.

Applications can be done online at the official UPU website. Applicants also need to update their profile in the e-profile system in order to apply.
