Average salaries for Malaysian ICT professionals is on the rise

Fresh graduates of computer science and other related IT degree programmes can expect to have healthy salaries both locally and abroad. ICT professionals in Malaysia are earning better compared to other professions and can look forward to working in other countries that pay premium for such specialisation. Countries such as Singapore (1.84 times higher than Malaysia), Thailand (1.36 times higher) and Vietnam (1.87 times higher) have been reported to pay high salaries.
