ATC Makes It to Semi-Finals in the LAWASIA International Moot Competition 2019

The final rounds of the LAWASIA International Moot Competition 2019 were held in Hong Kong. Team ATC from Advance Tertiary College (ATC) represented Malaysia at the 14th LAWASIA International Moot Competition.

The LAWASIA International Moot Competition brings mooting into the curriculum of law schools throughout the world and serves as a platform for friendships to be formed and connections to be made. Over 1,100 students have taken part in the LAWASIA International Moots, coming from approximately 60 law schools from 30 different jurisdictions.

In this international-level competition, Team ATC went against teams from various universities from Singapore, Hong Kong, India, China, Malaysia, Japan and Taiwan.

LAWASIA International Moot Competition 2019

In this year's moot competition, students will be faced with a challenging problem with regards to International Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law and Contract Law.

After the Malaysian rounds and competing in the international competition, Team ATC managed to reach the semi-finals. Jessica Marshall, Chong Wai Zhe and Kim Sung represented Malaysia in the semi-finals of the LAWASIA International Moot Competition 2019.
