Tertiary education under MARA is very popular among Malaysian students as it is free from tuition fees and provides a monthly allowance for successful applicants.
UPIM stands for Unit Pusat Institusi Mara which handles the application process for enrollment into institutions under MARA, similar to UPU.

Each applicant can make FIVE (5) selections each from the available programmes based on their eligibility and interest.
