Apply for enrollment in MARA institutions via UPIM

Tertiary education under MARA is very popular among Malaysian students as it is free from tuition fees and provides a monthly allowance for successful applicants.

UPIM stands for Unit Pusat Institusi Mara which handles the application process for enrollment into institutions under MARA, similar to UPU.

The options available are for:

Kolej Profesional MARA (KPM)

Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi MARA (KKTM) and Institut Kemahiran MARA (IKM)

German Malaysian Institute (GMI)

Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK)(PKS)

Eligibility

Each applicant can make FIVE (5) selections each from the available programmes based on their eligibility and interest.

Applicants are advised to read the terms and conditions of entry qualifications and select the programmes according to their own eligibility.

How to make your choice:

Be sure to select only programmes that meet your qualifications only.

List out your programme selection by priority (most popular and feasible is the first choice).

How to apply?

1. First time applicants must register by clicking on the Pengguna Baru button
2. Log in to the application using your personal Identification Card (Kad Pengenalan) number and password from the new user registration.
3. You must fill in the application form carefully. Check first before sending.
4. Applicants are given ONLY ONE OPPORTUNITY to send their application online.
