Applications to ALAM's Deck & Engine Crew Course Now Open!

The Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM) is looking for candidates to join their Deck and Engine Crew Course (Kursus Kelasi Dek & Enjin). If you are in a healthy state, ready to learn and interested in working on board a ship, then apply to join them now by attending their open interviews from March 1st - 31st, 9.00am at the ALAM campus, Kuala Sunagi Baru, Melaka.

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen (Born in Malacca, or either parent born in Malacca. Candidates from other states may apply, but will have to bear the cost of the course)
• Household income less than RM2,300
• SPM with 3 passes
• Male, aged from 18 to 25
• Healthy both physically and mentally
• Minimum height of 158cm and weight of 48 kg (BMI 18.5 - 24.9)
• Not colour blind
• Single
• Good eyesight without the need for corrective lenses for Deck Crew
• Use of corrective lenses not more than 2.00 for Engine Crew
