Application for MRSM Form One Admissions 2014 is now open

Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) is inviting students in Year 6 (2013). Malaysian citizens are allowed to apply for admission to the Junior Science Colleges (MRSM) Form 1 in 2014. For this Form1 intake, MRSM added four more programs:

• Normal MRSM - Education System implement MRSM (SPMRSM).
• MRSM Ulul Albab - MRSM Ulul Albab Education System consists Study Quran (memorization), Arabic and other languages ??such as Mandarin and Japanese in addition to core subjects such as existing in MRSM.
• MRSM IGCSE - Cambridge International General Certificate Program of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is introduced to add value SPMRSM existing offering certification Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). Cambridge IGCSE qualification certificate examination is high profile and excellent reputation and is recognized in most international university.
• MRSM Ulul Albab and IGCSE - the program implemented combines Ulul Albab program and the IGCSE program.

General Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen
• Malaysian parents
• Bumiputera students and non-Bumiputera year six studying at the National School or the National Primary Schools in Peninsular Malaysia
• Obtained 5As in the Primary School Assessment Test (UPSR) in 2013.
• Passing Test of Inclination Entrance MRSM (UKKM).
• Pass the interview

Special Requirement:

Normal MRSM – Qualify

MRSM Ulul Albab - Qualify

• Year six SM Ulul Albab –Qualify student studying at the National School or the National Primary Schools or Primary School of Religion Peninsular Malaysia.
• Ability to read Quran well and has interest to religion study
• Pass the test, memorizing and Jawi.
• Applicants must choose Gemencheh or MRSM MRSM Kepala Batas MRSM Kota Putra or as the first choice when filling the online application form.

MRSM IGCSE – Qualify

• Applicants should be able to master English well.
• Pass a comprehension test.
• Applicants must choose MRSM Tun Abdul Razak MRSM Batu Pahat MRSM Baling MRSM Alor Gajah MRSM Langkawi MRSM Dense, MRSM Serting, MRSM Kuantan MRSM Johor Bahru, MRSM Drain, MRSM Kubang Pasu, MRSM Tun Mustapha, MRSM Kuala Klawang or MRSM Kuala Kubu Bharu as the first choice when filling the online application form.
• The examination fee and the cost of purchasing books IGCSE will be borne by parents who are able to follow the criteria set arrangement.

MRSM Ulul Albab & IGCSE –Qualify

• Interest in religious studies
• Ability to master the recitation of the Quran and English well.
• Pass the test, memorizing, writing and comprehension autobiographical.
• Applicants must choose MRSM Kota Putra as the first choice when filling the online application form.
• The examination fee and the cost of purchasing books IGCSE will be borne by parents who are able to follow the criteria set arrangement.

Admission preference test MRSM (UKKM)

• Applicants will be ranked UKKM scheduled at 9 to 12 December 2013.UKKM Form 1 consists of 3 main areas, Mathematics, Science and Attitude.

Election

• Active in sports and have strong in leadership, from low-income families, aplicants who applied for Boarding School not be offered to MRSM. Successful applicants will be placed in the appropriate MRSM according to criteria set by MARA. Final Decision for student intake made by Supreme Committee for Student Recruitment (JTPP).

Application

• Applicants should come to the Office of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Mara / state / district or a nearby MRSM to get free password on UPSR results. Applicant must bring copy of birth certificate and a copy of the 2013 UPSR results were confirmed during a request for a password.

Closing Date:

• Online application opening of the intake will be closed on 27 November 2013.
• The deadline to send printed forms and documents related is no later than December 4, 2013.
