Application for January 2012 entry into Institut Kemahiran Baitulmal is open

Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) invites all needy Muslim Malaysians who are following the kifayah limit set by the MAIWP, to apply for the January 2012 skills training course at Institut Kemahiran Baitulmal (IKB).
Trainees at the IKB will have theoretical and practical classes from 8am to 5pm every weekday.
The academic session is divided into two semesters; the first starting from January to June, and the second from July to December.
Trainees are to complete two years for this course, that includes three to six months of practical lessons.

Courses offered are:

(a) Rekaan Fesyen dan Pembuat Pakaian Wanita/Lelaki (RFP)

(b) Perkhidmatan dan Penyajian Makanan (PPM)

(d) Seni Lukis dan Seni Reka (SSR)

(e) Kejuruteraan Elektrik (KJE)

Eligibility:

(a) Salary income of the head of the trainee's family is following the kifayah limit set by the MAIWP,

(b) a Muslim, regardless of race,

(d) aged between 18 to 30 years,

(e) UPSR qualification (to enrol for RPF, PPM, TBB and SSR),

(f) passed in SPM Mathematics for KJE course.

(b) Completed applications with other relevant verified photocopies of documents are to be sent to IKB.
