8,613 students sit for STAM 2013

Starting today til 23 October, 8,613 students will be taking the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) written examination. The nationwide examination is currently being held at 116 examination centres with 804 invigilators to ensure that examinations proceed as scheduled.

Of the total examinees, 4,094 are students from government schools, government aided schools and aided religious schools while 2,601 were from state religious secondary schools; 685 from people's religious secondary schools, 48 from private schools and 1,185 are private candidates.
