  • The need for quality hospitality and tourism personnel that are efficient and well-versed in industry know-how is continuously growing.

50 scholarships will be given  to deserving students interested in building a career in tourism and hospitality, a pledge that East West International College (EWIC) has made to help boost the study of tourism and hospitality in Malaysia.

Recently, the Malaysian Centre for Tourism and Hospitality Education (MyCenTHE) has assigned EWIC as its fourth cluster leader for Negri Sembilan. Other cluster leaders that have been launched include KDU University College (Penang); INTI College (Sabah) and UCSI University (Sarawak).

The project’s aim includes increasing the annual output of hospitality workers to 50,000 people by the year 2020, more than double from 20,000 people in the year 2009.
