The XMUM Foundation in Arts and Social Science is a one-year programme which is designed to offer a route for aspiring students to fulfil their dreams of gaining a higher education qualification in arts and social science fields. Students have the freedom to choose an academic track which corresponds with their intended field of undergraduate studies at XMUM. Various academic tracks are available and they are: Business, Accounting, Finance, Journalism and Chinese Studies.
Entry Requirements
a. SPM/SPMV-A pass with at least credits in 5 subjects b. UEC-A pass with at least Grade B in 4 subjects c. O-Level-A pass with at least Grade C in 5 subjects d. Other equivalent qualifications
For the academic tracks of Business, Finance, Accounting, and Hospitality & Tourism: Credits in Mathematics and English in SPM/SPMV/O-Level or a Grade B in both subjects in UEC or other equivalent qualifications. For the academic track of Journalism: Credits in English in SPM/SPMV/O-Level or a Grade B in English in UEC or other equivalent qualifications. For the academic track of Chinese Studies: Credit in Chinese in SPM or Grade B6 in Chinese in UEC or other equivalent qualifications.
For August 2017 intake of Foundation Programmes, applicants who fulfill the following requirements are welcome to apply. SPM:2As & 3Cs O-LEVEL:1As & 4Cs UEC:1A & 3Bs
