The Diploma in Coaching Science program is specially design to develop students to become a coaches, teachers, managers or personal trainers. The student will gain sport science and coaching knowledge in the areas like anatomy, exercise physiology, leadership and sport coaching. It also equipped student with the knowledge and understanding of management field. The objective of the designed program also focus to meet the academic standard and achieve the world class program so as to enable students to further studies in degree program offered locally and overseas.This program also provides excellent prospect for employment. Coaching Science is a field of applied sport science that involves anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, sport injury and rehabilitation, exercise physiology and other fields requiring sport and science in coaching field.
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia / Vokasional (SPM / SPMV)
Passed SPM / SPMV with 3 credits in any subjectPass in Fitness Test before joining the programme.
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
A pass in UEC with Grade B in three (3) subjects
O-Level
A pass in O-Level with Grade C in three (3) subjects
Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM)
A pass in SKM Level 3 in related fields and a pass in SPM with one (1) credit in any subject and through consolidation programmes. (if necessary)
Community College Certificate
A pass in Community College Certificate with Level 3 MQF related fields and a pass in SPM with one (1) credit in any subject and through consolidation programmes. (if necessary)
Certificate
A pass with certificate (Level 3 MQF) or equivalent qualifications with CGPA of 2.00 or equivalent
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
A pass in STPM / equivalent in qualification with Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any subject
Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
A pass in STAM (MAQBUL ranked)
Other Equivalent Qualification
Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government
