COURSE OVERVIEW

The programme objectives are:

To enable graduates to acquire knowledge and skills related to the architectural discipline;

To enable graduates to apply their creative skills in assisting the Architect to prepare and implement development projects as well as analysing and assessing architectural proposals;

To produce graduates who are semi professional and technically competent in solving architectural problems critically, logically, creatively and analytically based on sound facts and ideas;

To produce graduates who are able to communicate effectively across a wide range of contexts and audiences;

To produce graduates who are able to respond and adapt readily to changing situation and able to continue learning independently in the acquisition of additional knowledge and skills;

To produce graduates who are highly creative, motivated, disciplined and ethical as well as able to work effectively in a team.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Detailed entry requirements

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV)

Pass with 3 credits inclusive of Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics, any other one (1) subject.

Other Requirements

Obtained a pass in Arts / Engineering Drawing OR Pass an Interview Session / Drawing Test / Portfolio Review for applicant without Arts / Engineering Drawing subject qualification.
