The course is structured to produce graduates with knowledge in economics, applied statistics, development studies, administrative studies and politics.This programme teaches students to critically analyze and solve the problems of the economic world. Students learn how to apply their skills to many different economic issues, both locally and internationally. It is intellectually challenging which aims to develop students’ abilities to analyze the economic aspects that affect communities logically.
Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Equivalent Qualification
Diploma in the related area with CGPA at least 2.00 and approval from faculty.
STPM
Pass in STPM with any 2 subjects full pass or CGPA at least 2.00 with minimum grade “C”.
+
Pass in SPM or any equivalent qualification: Mathematics, English, History.
STAM
A pass in STAM with minimum grade Jayyid.
Matriculation / Foundation / A-LevelEquivalent qualification
Pass in Matriculation / Foundation / A-Level or recognized by Malaysian Government.
Other Qualification
Other qualification equivalent recognized by Malaysian Government.
