COURSE OVERVIEW

The Master of Science is a graduate program by research which is well recognized at both national and international levels. There are eleven (11) fields offered in the Master of Science (MSc) program which are

Accounting

Candidates are required to register for several courses and conduct an independent research. A student pursuing a MSc may complete the program between a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years.

Applicant are required to provide a brief outline of their proposed research to ensure that their research interests match the expertise of faculty members. Upon enrolment, each student will be assigned with an academic advisor, who will guide them in organizing their studies.

Field of Study : Finance

Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree with minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4-point scale from a local or international institution recognized by UPM or;

Work experience of at least one (1) year if CGPA is between 2.99 and 2.75 or;

Work experience of at least five (5) years if CGPA is between 2.749 and 2.50; or

Candidate with a professional qualification equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with at least five (5) years working experience shall be considered.

Field of Study : Other than Finance

Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree with minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4-point scale from a local or international institution recognized by UPM or;
Work experience of at least one (1) year if CGPA is between 2.99 and 2.75 or;

For a candidate with CGPA between 2.749 and 2.50, an internal assessment shall be conducted to determine the suitability of the candidate; or
Work experience of at least five (5) years if CGPA is below 2.50; or

Candidate with a professional qualification equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with at least five (5) years working experience shall be considered.
