The Foundation in Science programme from the University of Reading Malaysia is a one-year intensive access course for students without British A-Levelss. The Foundation in Science programme helps you learn the academic and social lessons you will need to begin an undergraduate science programme. You will also guarantee your place at the University of Reading once your Foundation studies are successfully completed.The Foundation in Science covers all of the elements that you will need in order to feel confident and ready to begin your studies. Entry Requirements
For entry to M/BPharm degrees SPM: Minimum of 5 Grade Bs in Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and other other subject. For entry to all other Science degrees SPM: Minimum of 5 at Grade C or above, excluding English for Science and Technology, Islamic Studies and Moral Studies IGCSE: 5 passes at Grade A – C in relevant subjects OR an equivalent international qualification SPM 1119: Grade C IELTS: 5.5 (no element below 4.5)
IELTS: 5.5 (no element below 5.0) [Students intending to pursue a law degree must possess IELTS 6.0 (with no element below 5.5)]
