The MSc International Business degree is designed for non-business background students, acting as a ‘conversion’ masters programme for students without a basic degree in business, management or related areas. With the global economy increasingly influencing the business world, this MSc programme will provide non-business school graduates with a solid foundation in international business theory and practice.The course is designed to provide a structured programme that allows you to focus upon advanced developments in international business management to meet your specific interests and career aspirations. It will enable you to engage in a study of organisations, their management, and the changing international external environment in which they operate. You will learn to examine and assess different aspects of the international business environment, gain cross-disciplinary insights into the operation of international business, and develop your capability to undertake critical evaluation of core business disciplines.
Entry requirements
An upper second class honours degree (or international equivalent). Applicants' first degree can be of any discipline however, the course is not designed for candidates with a first degree in business. Applicants must have graduated from an approved university. Other equivalent qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
English language requirements
IELTS: 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in each element) TOEFL (iBT): 87 (minimum 20 in Speaking and 19 in all other elements) PTE (Academic): 62 (with no less than 55 in each element) IELTS and TOEFL test results must be less than 2 years old and all IELTS must be the academic version of the test

B+B+B+, excluding Pengajian Am
UEC
5 As, exluding Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese language but may include English.
SAM or other Australian matriculations
ATAR 86 (consideration to be made based on relevant subjects)
Canadian (CIMP/ICPU)
88% average based on 6 subjects with at least 80% in mathematics of data management
College Placement Test (US Style Curriculum)
Minimum final GPA of 3.0 (out of 4) in High School Diploma with grade B in mathematics plus, 610 in evidence-based reading & writing and 570 in mathematics in SATr and 650, 650, 650 in SAT Subject Tests or 4 ,4, 4 in Advanced Placement Tests
Advance Placement (AP)
Applicants who are taking Advanced Placement Tests in addition to another recognised qualification (not US style curriculum), may be considered on a case-by-case basis without the SATr and SAT Subject Tests
Diploma - Other Institutions
Acceptance to the second year is on a case by case basis (and at the discretion of the School) but normally would require an overall GPA of 3.33 (out of 4) or 75% and above (consideration to be made based on relevant subjects), and previous studies must meet the prerequisite requirements to the programme
Foundation - Other Institutions
Acceptance is at the discretion of the School but normally would require an overall GPA of 3.33 (out of 4) or 75% and above (consideration to be made based on relevant subjects), and previous studies must meet the prerequisite requirements to the programme
The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus Foundation
Successful completion of any foundation programme and meeting the mathematics requirements
SPM/GCSE/IGCSE
In addition to the entry requirements listed above, those who have taken SPM/GCSE/IGCSE must have grade B in mathematics or grade C in UEC mathematics
