This programme aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable in the basic understanding of Syariah contracts and financial standards in the development of products and instruments of Islamic banking and finance. Besides, it also encourages teamwork and interpersonal skills in various stages of organisational management and fostering a culture of ethics as well as social responsibility. Executive Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance do provide opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge in the discipline of Islamic banking and finance where it applies skills to effectively manage the organisation.
Malaysian Applicants
Must be at least 21 years old on the date of application and fulfill the following general requirements: Passed SPM with 3 credits and three 3 years of working experience in related fields (Please click here for Definition of Work Experience) and OR; Obtained APEL Certificate (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) from MQA for admission to diploma (Level 4) and 3 years of working experience in related fields.
Non Malaysian Applicants
Non Malaysian applicants who wish to pursue study in Executive Diploma programme in the University must meet the following general requirements; Passed at least O-level with good or other qualification recognized by the Senate and At least a score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 80 (IBT) in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or band 6 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or English Language Proficiency Programme (ELPP) Level 6 (Highest); and 3 years of working experience in related field.
