Detailed entry requirements

Science Stream

Passed the STPM with at least a CGPA of 3.50; and

• Obtained at least Grade A- in STPM level in the following subjects:
• Mathematics T / Mathematics T;

and

Obtained at least Grade B+ (CGPA 3.33) in STPM level for any one (1) of the following subjects:

• Biology
• Physics
• Chemistry

and

Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET

Science Stream

Passed the Matriculation/Foundation with at least a CGPA of 3.50;

and

Obtained at least Grade A- in Matriculation/Foundation in the following subjects:

• Mathematics;

and 
  
Obtained at least Grade B+ in Matriculation/Foundation program for any one (1) of the following subjects:

• • Biology
  • Physics/Engineering Physics
  • Chemistry/Engineering Chemistry

and

Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET

Science Stream

REQUIREMENT 1

Possess a Diploma in related fields from Public University / other institutions recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the University’s Senate with at least CGPA 3.50;

and

Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET

OR

REQUIREMENT 2

Passed the STPM not in current year with at least CGPA 3.50 and fulfils the program specific requirements as follows:

Obtained at least Grade A- in STPM level in the following subjects:

• Mathematics T / Mathematics T;

and

Obtained at least Grade B+ (CGPA 3.33) in STPM level for any one (1) of the following subjects:

• Biology
• Physics
• Chemistry

and

Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET

OR

REQUIREMENT 3

Passed the Matriculation/ Foundations not in current year with at least CGPA 3.50 and fulfils the program specific requirements as follows:

Obtained at least Grade A- in STPM level in the following subjects:

• Mathematics;

and

Obtained at least Grade B+ (CGPA 3.33) in STPM level for any one (1) of the following subjects:

• Biology
• Physics/Engineering Physics
