Detailed entry requirements

• Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a credit (Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia subject or a credit (Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July paper and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above); and
• Achieved a minimum Band in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) as required in special requirements of the programme.

A-Level, AUSMAT and IB

REQUIREMENT 1

Passed the GCE A-Level with at least grade B in two (2) of the following subjects:

• Accounting
• Mathematics
• Economics
• Business Studies
• Physics
• Chemistry

and

Obtained at least Band 3 in MUET

or

Obtained at least Band 4.5 - 5 in IELTS (Academic)

or

Obtained score of at least 477 - 510 (PBT)/153 - 180 (CBT) / 53 - 64 (IBT) in TOEFL.

and

Passed the interview

NOTE: Candidates may apply using Advanced Subsidiary (AS) examination results. A-Level examination results should be submitted later once it has been obtained.

OR

REQUIREMENT 2

Passed the Australian Matriculation  programme (AUSMAT) with at least Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 80 percent; 
and

Obtained 16 point (High Achievement) at the AUSMAT level in two (2) of the following subjects:

• Mathematics
• Business Management and Enterprise
• Economics
• Accounting and Finance
• Physics
• Chemistry

and

Obtained at least Band 3 in MUET

or

Obtained at least Band 4.5 - 5 in IELTS (Academic)

or

Obtained score of at least 477 - 510 (PBT)/153 - 180 (CBT) / 53 - 64 (IBT) in TOEFL.

and

Passed the interview

OR

REQUIREMENT 3

International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) with at least 35 point score

and

Obtained grade 5 (Higher Level)at the  International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB)  level in  two (2) of the following subjects:

• Mathematics
• Economics
• Business Studies
• Physics
• Chemistry

and

Obtained at least Band 3 in MUET

or

Obtained at least Band 4.5 - 5 in IELTS (Academic)

or

Obtained score of at least 477 - 510 (PBT)/153 - 180 (CBT) / 53 - 64 (IBT) in TOEFL.

and

Passed the interview

Science and Arts Stream

REQUIREMENT 1

Possess a Diploma from any institution recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the University’s Senate with at least CGPA 3.30;

and

Obtained at least Grade B+ at the Diploma level in one (1) of the following subjects:

• Accounting
• Mathematics
• Economics
• Business Studies
• Physics
• Chemistry

and

Obtained at least Grade B+ for Mathematics at     
SPM level;

and

Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET

and

Passed the interview

OR

REQUIREMENT 2

Passed STPM not in current year with at least CGPA 3.30 and obtained at least grade B+ at the STPM level in  one (1) of the following subjects:

• Accounting
• Mathematics
• Economics
• Business Studies
• Physics
• Chemistry

and

Obtained at least Grade B+ for Mathematics at SPM level;

and

Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET

and

Passed the interview

OR

REQUIREMENT 3

Passed the Matriculation/ Foundations not in current year with at least CGPA 3.30 and obtained at least grade B+ at the Matriculation/ Foundations level in  one (1) of the following subjects:

• Accounting
• Mathematics
• Economics
• Business Studies
• Physics
• Chemistry

and

Obtained at least a grade of credit at the SPM level in Mathematics;

and

Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET

and

Passed the interview
