COURSE OVERVIEW

This Diploma in Farm Management Program is designed to meet the needs of the workforce in the field of plantation trained and skilled in managing related matters.

The curriculum of the program is a balance between theoretical knowledge as well as practical practice in the field. Students are given exposure to complete farm management knowledge from various aspects such as soil science, crop pest control, entomology, entrepreneurship, accounting, landscaping, industrial crops such as oil palm and rubber, vegetable crops and so on. It is equipped with co-curricular programs and soft skills to form students with high personalities and cultivate leadership qualities.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Detailed entry requirements

 

  1. Passed SPM / SPMV or equivalent - 3 credits - BM and two (2) other subjects as well as  passed BI and Mathematics; OR
  2. Pass O-Level with at least Grade C in three (3) subjects; OR
  3. Pass SKM Level 3 in related fields AND pass SPM with at least credit in one (1) subject; AND strengthening programs (if necessary); OR
  4. Passed MQF Level 3 equivalent Community College Certificate in related fields; AND pass SPM with at least credit in one (1) subject; AND strengthening programs (if necessary); OR
  5. Passed Certificate (Level 3 MQF) with CGPA 2.0 in related field; OR
  6. Passed STPM or equivalent with at least grade C (NGMP 2.0) in one (1) subject; OR
  7. Passed STAM rank Maqbul; OR
  8. Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia
