COURSE OVERVIEW

This Diploma in Landscape Management Program is designed to meet the needs of the workforce in the field of landscape development and management who are trained and skilled in managing matters related to landscape projects.

The curriculum of the program is a balance between theoretical knowledge as well as practical practice on site. Students are given exposure to complete landscape management knowledge from various aspects such as soil science, landscape crop pest control, landscape construction and landscape design, entrepreneurship, accounting, crop breeding and nursery management, landscape technology and so on. It is equipped with co-curricular programs and soft skills to form students with high personalities and cultivate leadership qualities. It creates more specialized jobs in the landscape industry in line with the country's desire to green the environment.

Pass SPM / SPMV or equivalent - 3 credits - BM and two (2) other subjects and pass one (1) Science subject; Mathematics or Accounting Principles ; OR
Pass O-Level with at least Grade C in three (3) subjects; OR
Pass SKM Level 3 in related fields AND pass SPM with at least credits in one (1) subject; AND strengthening programs (if necessary); OR
Passed MQF Level 3 equivalent Community College Certificate in related fields; AND pass SPM with at least credits in one (1) subject; AND strengthening programs (if necessary); OR
Passed Certificate (Level 3 MQF) with CGPA 2.0 in related field; OR
Passed STPM or equivalent with at least grade C (NGMP 2.0) in one (1) subject; OR
Passed STAM rank Maqbul; OR
Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia
AND (for sub-fields of architecture and interior design), Pass the subject of Art Education / Engineering Drawing at SPM level or equivalent; OR Pass the portfolio test for those who failed or did not take the Art Education subject.
